Some days are just a series of ups and downs...
And today is a Goody! First my youngest was still under the weather... then someone shut off the wrong circuit at the store last night, thus powering down the linux server (once the UPS ran out - not a good thing), the router, and the cordless phone. To wit, nothing worked this morning...
Then things picked up - we had some sales... Then my niblick decided to try and dive bomb the goldfish with small boulders. some more sales ;-> ... Then my glasses broke *sob*.... some MORE sales :-D
Then the 'little demon'gate broke (sigh)....
Still more sales... (Whew!) And then really good news, one of our readers, who has been trying to get decent employment for two years, told us that she has been accepted to be a substitute teacher locally. We are thrilled! Not only is she very intelligent, but also well educated, a mother of five (sucessfully seen several into through the teenage years) and imminently qualified to keep all manners of little hellions out of trouble and doing productive things.
That and the MOST awesome joint reading I did with Leoni with her very special deck of cards. Very promising :D
